This album is very special to me. My friend which whom I consider closer than a brother was traveling around the country raising awareness and funds for the impoverished people of North Korea. One of his stops landed him in my hometown and he stayed the night along with his partners. Before we went to sleep I showed him what I've been doing musically. He heard a few projects and after hearing 2 or 3 of my soul-inspired songs he told me I should make an entire album of them. So I worked like a madman to create just that in time for his permanent return within a month. On his way back from his last stop he and his team passed away in a tragic car accident. Each and every one of these songs is dedicated to him. I know he would have loved it. He has been a huge inspiration for me as a person and artist. Anything you have heard from me and even my artist name was passed through him before it was made a reality.
